Thread: Fire modes. Is what I'm hearing true? | Forums

Fire modes. Is what I'm hearing true?

I've been hearing that, even after the latest patch, you still have to select your fire mode (semi-auto, full-auto, burst) before a mission and after that you're stuck with it and can't change in-game. Is this true? If it is, then I'm not even bothering with this game because that would be a complete and total betrayal of the Ghost Recon series.

As far as I know its been like this all the time, even before the patch. You select what trigger you want before the operation.

Well, yeah, actually. It would. Nothing says "Modern Crapfare" like pulling a move like this. It's not even realistic. What the heck?

it's a tactical decision in an attempt to create balance. Crying about something like this is pretty pathetic, just saying

Can you imagine the nightmare of switching from semi to burst to full auto over and over again?

Thanks for admitting that this is your first Ghost Recon game. Do yourself a favor, go back to Modern [comment removed]classic tactical shooters. Kids like you are what's wrong with gaming today.

I was being sarcastic, too. The game is a console port with limited real estate for functionality.

Don't you just love it? We, the people who put this franchise on the map, get nothing and the Konsole Kiddies get their instant gratification. I just love Ubisoft.
