I was gonna say that tooo....!!!
I just want to continue playing and to enjoy doing so for the rest of my life. I started in my teens and never did much with the guitar, especially after a motorcycle accident in which I was at deaths door for weeks, and after recovering, had no memory of my life for a long, long time. Since then, I played in 'spurts' and never really could put things together with fingering, picking and strumming until RS. Now, since purchasing RS in Nov 2011, I play every day, even took my PS3, guitar and RS with me to the beach earlier this year. I have really improved over these few months and look forward each day to spending some quality time with RS. One day I'll summons the courage to post a video of me playing for you, my wonderful Rocksmithing buddies. This 'game', (if it can be called that) and this forum ROCKS !!! Rock On !!

for me is when i walk into a music store and they ask me what type of music i play (British classic rock)and actually believe i can play it instead of in the game only

    Here is my top reasons:

    • Have fun
    • Play my guitar more
    • Increase my skills
    • Jam (and hopefully learn) some new songs

I'm already a pretty decent guitarist that plays in a band. Rocksmith looked like a fun way to get more time in on guitar.

Im one of those guitarist that loves to play but, well isnt all that good, its all my fault tho because when i try to learn a song i never can get it perfect and ill just settle on a improvisation (never as good as the correct way it should be played). but this Rocksmith game has given me more help than any other guitar teaching method, i think its because i can see the notes and hear them and to top it all off i even get the game telling me in real time if im making mistakes, I still have a hard time remembering all the solos but im getting closer .

my goals are to learn how to play these songs the correct way and not just kinda come close like i normally do when learning new songs 8D

Thank you RockSmith yous guys are great

X3 The people at big chains and small local shops are like the guys who own a comic book shop. It's like you're invading their club house or something. In reality it's a business and if I want to clank away on your $3,000 LP with the worst playing you have heard in a month it should be fine if I have the money to buy it and I don't break it. Having said that it is pretty nice to walk in to buy some strings and not feel out of place anymore. So that would be sort of mission accomplished on this goal for me.
-So Ezio...where does an Assassin learn guitar these days?
    -Rocksmith...
