I'm trying to install the disc version of Riven on Windows 7 Starter. My problem is that the installation must complete the QuickTime setup. Even though I've already got the latest version installed, it keeps crashing during the check when it encounters this strange directory name. I'm not sure what is causing this error but Setup won't let me finish installing Riven without it.

Do not forget that if you need to install an older QuickTime version you will have to "first" delete the present // newest QuickTime version from the program files folder in the control panel.

The advice is apparently for booting the game up after I've installed it, but I'm mainly talking about straight-up installing it. Should I install Quicktime 4.1.2 first and then try it again?
