I have a 2008 Supreme, it's pretty awesome sounding and great sustain due to the chambered body. They are cake to change pickups or anything in. Yes you access the wiring through the jack plate. No rear covers on them at all. I have a Roland GK1 on mine for tinkering with some MIDI things. I like the supreme over the chambered les pauls by a mile, it's much better sounding IMO. I bought mine in 2008 when it was few weeks old, If I remember right I paid around $3500 for it off Sweetwater.

Based on the "oversized" jack plate. I still think my hands/fingers would be too small. And I have a question. If you had to change the Rhythm / Treble toggle switch, What? You have to take off the strings and the neck pickup? If so, that sounds like more work than I care to get into. Not saying the guitar isn't beautiful, but I don't want to have to spend the day, if I wanted to change out the pots, or do a 50's style wiring. lol

I've seen them use fishin' line (or string) to pull the pots up through the holes, on hollow body guitars.

Hell of a guitar there WB, I wonder if that'll be another $15K asset some day soon.
Is it in fact thicker in the body than a standard or custome LP or is it just the photo?

Phalaris, it's a Gibson, not Epiphone it has a lifetime warranty and besides I doubt you'll find anyone who has ever had a switch fail also a pair of forceps makes changing it pretty easy.

Body thickness is not much different than any newer LP(they're chambered also) it is heavier than a LP and out shines a LP in sustain by a long shot
