If you're looking something special from Splinter Cell videos, (last my project was called Tactical Espionage from Chaos Theory - advanced ghost style), visit my fansite channel at this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaruto7?feature=mhee

Our ideas should serve as an inspiration for Ubisoft Torronto with new and innovative features in the right direction for Blacklist: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-in-Blacklist

We need a purist mode similar to what Hitman: Absolution have, but with our rules: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...40#post8582940

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...list-Checklist Please support the checklist and hopefully Ubisoft will see the massive amounts of people who want to see certain, key features implemented.

Ubisoft... please add in a true variable speed system with an integrated sound system and if you have the time...other abilities, gadgets, and things from the first SC games such as split jump, etc.

I mean the climbing animation, how Sam jumps from rock to rock like a frog while he is scaling the wall in E3 demo

Oh i see now, i thought it was monkey climbing instead like a frog but both versions of the names are acceptable.
Thes climbing animation must to be redesigned, or let us give a choice between slow and fast climbing on the rocks.

I've heard it crack monkey, frog, etc...all I know is that it has to be fixed...

Unless they can show use Eric Johnson actually climbing a wall like that, lol, I can only imagine.

What are you guys talking about? Jade Raymond's the best thing that could've happened to this franchise when you consider what a steaming pile of turd Conviction turned out to be. She's the one pushing for more mature themes and believability in the plot. I seriously doubt that's one of Max's priorities. He's just an action flick, big explosions, Sam's the best super secret agent badass ever and is just better than everyone else ever, "now THAT'S killing in motion" kinda guy. And let's face it, that's pretty much what his current work to date (Conviction and Vegas) has been all about. If Blacklist turns out to be good, it'll be Jade Raymond and Patrick Redding who are responsible.

But anyway, I also think the E3 demo was a poor marketing move as it's only the people like us who are on the forums and who read/watch all the interviews that actually realise there is intended to be far more to Blacklist than AK-47s and airstrikes. And it's been months now. Ubisoft is essentially trying to sell the game to people who aren't necessarily going to enjoy or want to play it. Doesn't make sense to me.

Actually, do you have proof of this?

We have proof that Max and his team have been listening to people on the forums and other fans and to what they want.

And I agree Patrick Redding has been a major factor in bringing back classic stealth gameplay etc....

Well I'd have thought Conviction and Vegas were pretty good proof. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Max is exceptional at his job (I'm sure it's a very demanding role). I'm just not convinced that he's best suited to Splinter Cell. I'm also loving a lot of what I'm hearing about Blacklist as well as the community interaction but I am convinced that Max doesn't really fully grasp the idea of what a mature game is. I'd love to be proven wrong but he himself is promoting Backlist as a mature game and from all the interviews with him that I've read and watched, he just seems more exited about killing in motion and Sam being a badass than innovative stealth gameplay (Patrick Redding's emphasis) and maturity and believability (Jade Raymond's emphasis). As for Jade Raymond, here is a pretty extensive interview with her. All she's saying I agree with and find reassuring given her involvement in Splinter Cell. I think it's people like her that should be heading up companies like Ubisoft.

Patrick, well yeah, that guy has a major play in SCB, Jade ?!, doubt it, to this day I don't know what she does in SCB.

As for the mature story, well it isn't as mature as you think, well maybe cause we don't know all of it yet ?, but Dansky is the one behind the story, so credits goes to him, though there are some serious unclear things in the plot.
