Updated my score again. Heading out of town again shortly, so that's probably it for me. Managed to get it all fully levelled, but didn't have time to really work on the spots I have difficulty with (verse 5, mostly).

Took a pretty good fall at work yesterday, and tore a chunk of skin and fingernail off my right pinky. I use it to anchor my right hand, and it was a bit painful to play at first but got used to it. Realized after a while that I'd bled all over my guitar though. Also have a nice bruise on my cheek bone, and a big purple one on my hip. Pretty stiff & sore all over today.

Able to reach my goal of 95% accuracy with a score of 129,368. My timing is still a little off in some spots, so I was going to take a video of my replay, but, for the first time ever (for me) RS did not show a replay of this run. I had just played a few full runs (w/replays) and decided to "play again" one more time. Got my camera & tripod setup as the results screen displayed and just stood there looking at my score waiting for the replay, and... it never happened. Weird. Oh well, I'll play it again later tonight and try again.

Updated with probably my first 100% on a song. A little confused as to how you can get so many more bonus points. I feel like I'm playing very much on time. Maybe I have to mess with the lag setting?

Congrats on your first 100%! Sadly, to score well, you have to play ahead of the beat to get the groove bonuses. A quarter to half a second works well for me...

I'm glad to be back, I missed the past 3 weeks. I hadn't purchased this yet but this was a good excuse to do so.

    Edit: score update

Inching closer to getting my timing down on those tricky spots of Solo 5 & Verse 5. Up to 96% accuracy @ 130K. If I keep practicing I feel like I should be able to reach 98% accuracy by tomorrow, so I'll keep working on this one.

Up to 97% accuracy (131,763) while still making some simple fat fumble finger mistakes, as you can hear on this video of my last play. I was a little early on the first A string slide from 2 to 4, so I missed that one, and my timing is still a little off in a couple other spots. Will keep at it until I'm playing it cleanly.

Just back from vacation, it looks everyone has great score this week.
Downloaded the bass extension, and I might spend more time learning bass from now on. Anyhow here is my score of the weekly challenge.
