What's happened with my saves in AC2?? | Forums

Hello everyone,

I'm going to lose my mind, if it's get worse. This is the problem: I played with AC2 yesterday evening, and then I quit from the game, and go to bed... after that, when I wanted to continue my game today, and load my game, i don't know how, but the game opens Sequence 2, instead of Sequence 3, where I finished the game yesterday evening!!! Then somehow later, I could open the right save, and play along to Sequence 4, but after that, when I quit from the game and back, the game loads Sequence 2 again! I'm get really angry, and delete my saves, but when I quit from the game again, and go back, it's still there! What the hell is happened with my saves? I didn't do anything, and everything messed up! I can't do anything with this save, even if I delete it, or play along from there, it's still load Sequence 2. I unistall AC2 and Uplay too, and after that, my save is still there! What should I do? Or how could I delete my save once and for all? It's still better to start from the beginning, instead of play with this wrong save. (and sorry for my bad English...)

Try disabling the clould sync system in UPlay.

When you go to launch a game and UPlay opens up.

Click the gear like button at the top right.
Un-check the box that says "enable cloud syncronisation for supported games".
Close Uplay.
Re-open UPlay and try launching the game.

It's known to cause issues for people with their saves. I cannot promise you will be back where you are meant to be, but it should stop it reverting in the future .

Thank you the help! But I didn't open Uplay for about 15-20 minutes... after that, I opened it, and then, when I opened my save, it opens sequence 4! But thanks the advice, I'm gonna disable the cloud.
