I know there is like a very slim chance of the game being shown at gamescom but is there a chance at all that we will hear something about cuz im pretty curious as to how far along they are or when we can expect some info or a another trailer

I have no idea what the lineup for Gamescom is. I'm learning as you do! I hope there's news as well, I'm looking forward to this game!

Just so you know, the Gamescon event is already happening. It started on the 15th and ends on the 19th and we havent heard a peep, so I'm assuming that nothing will be shown. If we are going to get any news this year it will probably be in November, the same month they announced the game in the first place. It can't get any later than that.

I'll say that if the game is coming out before August of next year then they definitely have to show something this year. They are quickly losing the fans faith with the departure of Sears and fans are demanding some news sooner rather than later, so I don't think they can afford to wait until next year to show us something.

regardless of when they decide to show a trailer or release some info, If the trailer is flashy enough or the info is juicy enough, I guarentee those same fans that claim they will neglect ubisoft will be right back to nuthugging ubisoft once SOMETHING is released

Fall of 2013 is probably when the game is gunna be released thats if they dont delay the game for a couple of months / years, But ye like you said I could see them showing something in November, then release the odd trailer or two before E3 2013 which hopefully will be R6P's grand showing

I hope they show something soon cuz im getting real tired of waiting for games, waiting for GTA V is hard enough but Rainbow Patriots too just puts it over the top, plus im also following the new UFC game that EA is making very closely (so excited that THQ is done with UFC) I dont expect to hear any offical on that game for like a couple of years tho, what I can look forward too is The Last of Us, God of War Ascension, Grid 2, Assassin's Creed III and Splinter Cell Blacklist simply cuz I know when there being released (roughly) and there are shyt loads of info on them all over the interweb

They can take all the time they feel they need before they show anything, I really don't care much at this point. When David Sears left, that was the nail in the coffin for me.

If thats the case, Why are you still here then? you obviously care about what happens to the game thats why your still here so stop talking like you done with the series cuz if you were really done you wouldnt be coming back to a dead forum,

It time to stop being butthurt you know whats coming, yes they will probably dumb down the game like they did with both splinter cell and ghost recon and there is really nothing me and you can do about it so it time to get over it, if you like the classics so much go back and play them till you get tired of them I really dont know what to say, I want a tactical game too but but reticuling ubisoft for there decisions really isnt gunna help the game become better so right now all we can do is support there decision and suggest some of our own that way there can be a mix of tactical gameplay for hardcore players such as yourself and w/e else there gunna put in to cater to the masses
