I have restarted the second mission in Necromancer company.
But the hero starts with the first level not ninth.
WTF?
How can I start the mission with my previous (9) level???

Exactly my problem. Iplayed through each campign onlevel 1. Now I am ready to go to level 2, starting with Stronghold, as this forum (in other posts) suggests. But no matter which level 2 campaign I try, it is always with the hero at level 1. Won't stand a chance against the enemy. So is there a solution to this? Ubisoft, if you are listening, unless you get this fixed, i will NEVER EVER buy another of your products. As a company you SUCK! Please don't accuse me of bei=ing harsh. You do not deserve to be in business. You got our money and you could care less about us. I can only hope my fellow gamers also refuse to buy your products.

Try restarting in the misson of one of your working auto-saves, rather then doing it outside the misson.

That would be great if any of the saved games showed up.

For that problem, swap between the load and saved games tabs a few times and I believe that will fix it.

I MAY have found a very helpful solution. I had the same problem. That is,I wanted to playthe second mission of a givencampaig, but the previous save was gone, and I had to either start mission 2 with a level 1 hero (very bad idea), or play the whole thing over again. Hhere is the solution. Say you want to play Sanctuary mission 2. Choose the sanctuary campaign, FIRST mission,and CONTINUE (not restart map). That will take you to the very last place you were; usually the big boss battle or game ending screen. When it is over, CONTINUEinto the very next mission, even if tht is not the one you want to playnext. Then after the opening scenes, just SAVE the game. When you get ready to lay, you just have to load that save, and you start mission 2 with a level 9 or 10 hero. This worked for me, and I hope it works for you. BTW - I think we all sould be playing with the CLOUD disabled, because it is really bugged. Ihope this helps someone.

Did you maybe play in both Offline and Online modes?
Or, maybe you played with a Custom hero (not Anastasia)? Or maybe changes Anastasia from the default Magic to a Might hero?
