    Season Pass

Would anyone be interested if Rocksmith offered a season pass on DLC? You pay one flat fee for all the content of the year but at a discount. I liked how this worked out for COD.

Well, I buy a bunch of DLC, so I would get it if the discount was good... But they'd probably lose money on it from me due to the amount I buy anyhow

No, no, no, and hell no.

If I dislike music I don't want that band making money on my subscription. I'd rather pay more and support artists I appreciate.

The only thing good about this is that it would allow lesser known bands to ease into the mix, which I'm all for, but not at the cost of bands I detest making another cent.

It's a fine model for other games, and even other software (like Adobe's venture into this), but not for a music genre oriented game like this, unless the catalog is MASSIVE.

Not me. I plan to play rocksmith for more than a year. Unlike cod that gets a new game every year. If ubi is going to release a new game ever year than it might work if not then just pay for it.

Season passes are an idiot tax. I'd be more polite about it and even tried typing out a more polite explaination but really they are a terrible idea, or possibly a good idea implimented terribly. Not only does the DLC have to be something you want, when the "GoTY" edition comes out bundled with all the DLC it's usually a far better deal too. Also XBL/PSN/Steam often have sales on DLC, further reducing the value of a pass.
Ironically with Rocksmith having biweekly DLC it's got a pretty good chance of being a good idea for the customer which is why Ubi wouldn't go for it. Ubi want more of your money not less.

Not as long as the current song picker is picking the songs.

Mods, out of curiosity, why was this one moved to gear and tech talk? It's not really about gear or tech... I don't really care either way, just want to understand if this is related to the focus of this sub-forum somehow.

Well, I am a little confused sometimes, but I figure it falls either under tech talk or issues, it is not about guitar or bass.

The lines are not really clear sometimes.

Plus, I wanted to get my move quota up. j/k >.>
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

I would surely be interested in having the extra option.
