Any difference between the different versions for PS3 for AC revelations | Forums

I am buying a PS3 at the end of the month...I'm buying it to be able to play Assassin's creed revelations....I saw different versions at different prices of Assassin's creed Revelations. There is one in a black box:

And another one in a yellow box called the Platinum version.

I would like to know what is different with the Platinum version which seems to carry a lower price than the one with a black box....Anyone can explain? Thanks in advance!

I think the black-cased one includes the Lost Archive DLC which if you havent yet played revelations you should definitely get as it answers alot of questions.

That Black box is a Special edition.
It contains the soundtrack, ezio's ultimate armor and 2 multiplayer characters (http://www.donnystore.com/images/ps3...l-ps3-eu-1.jpg )
And It also contains the Original Assassin's Creed 1 which you can install at the PS3. (don't know if the platinum has that aswell.

If you would like all of the digital content, I would advise buying a regular edition of the game and purchasing the Lost Archive DLC.

At this point in time, the only real reason to buy a collector's edition is if you're after physical content, in the form of collector's edition goodies.

I believe it's the regular version but it's not a new copy!! Does it make any difference? Will I have access to all downloadable content if I used a used copy of the game like this one! Thanks in advance!

You won't have access to downloadable content given with that copy unfortunately.. If you want all the downloadable content, you can buy The Lost Archive, that DLC gives you access to every other bonus mission/costumes. I think it doesn't give you MP content.

Also, if you want to play Multiplayer. You need a pass. And the one who sold it to you might have used the pass. And you can only use it one time.
So if you want to play Multiplayer, you need to buy the Pass again. You can find it at The PS Store.

Lost Archive gives you access to the Crusader, Ottoman Jester and the Ottoman Doctor, which were all pre-order specific characters, so you do technically get some MP content with the DLC.

Other than that, just Clay's story in the form of the first-person based platform sections.
