On August 15th Gamescomm Starts Far Cry 3 will feature at this event so I think we can expect a more full multi-player reveal at this event perhaps showcasing some new maps and gameplay.

In Game Editor I still think will be unlikely at this stage but let's hope for some juicy new footage and some good infomation on the horizon.

No wonder comm devs are being so quiet.see here

I think they are going to announce the Beta at Gamescom. Hopefully they do. Does anyone know what they will show at Gamescom ? Single-Player? Co-op? Multiplayer? They are being silent about Farcry 3. I swear if they show re-runs from old events and say the same crap. I'am going to be pissed-off. I cannot stand when the developers talk about insanity. Talk about the things we can do in the game.

If they show Single-Player again they should just show the developer(s) screwing around the world.

The Press conference will more than likley be about the single player aspects of the game.... Hopefully they can now show some open world stuff.

The Multi-player will be on the show floor so this will be on the boothe

Well, as the editor is really a part of the MP game, I believe they might show something related to it, like what you can create with it (I think Ubisoft showed some of the in-studio IGE creations a bit before the editor itself with FC2?).

I think whatever they will show us from this point cannot leave any more big question marks and show us exactly the raw elements of the game.

Ubitims explained there is a fourth undisclosed game mode for multi player that is going to be original.... Considering we still have not seen firestorm yet it feels a bit weird that theres been a big blackout on multi player to make way for showcasing the co-op which has been well recieved albeit with a bit of concern about the draw distance issues displayed.

So although co-op is a big offering is only 4 modes enough and will team play be forced upon us as the only multi player option.

I do hope we get a capture the flsg based mode but perhaps unique to Fc3 if not now then later on but if they cannot atleast include a free for all modes which lierally require little extra effort i will be a bit shocked as they cannot really expect people to pay for somthing as standard as this for dlc

Agreed, CTF is really important for assembled teams and clan matches. It's also one of the most teamwork encouraging ones--- some people defend, some attack. The team needs to think of what they do (Even though people don't really think in random servers, but they do in clan matches).
