I dunno about Nathan Drake. I mean, sure, his animations are really nice (except for some of the jumping ones... yikes) but look how much more stuff Connor has going on. For most of the game, Drake just wears a sweater and jeans. Connor has a long dress uniform, all kinds of items on his belt, and a bow on his back, and all of it is physics-enabled. We'll have to see how it reacts to wind, water, etc. before we can really make the call, but at this point, I can easily see Drake being surpassed.

Please, do not transform the topic into yet reverence for Uncharted.
On this land, I am torn. Part of me wants to fight and repel all outsiders. The other part of me is the outsider. In the name of Liberty, I will fight the enemy, regardless of their allegiance. While men of courage write history of this day, the future of our land depends on those who are truly free.

Drakes animations are weird to a degree but I think it was intended to make him seem like an everyday guy who does some extraordinary things instead of some allstar athlete. I just hope Connor doesn't develop a wall touching fetish like Drake. Who else do y'all think could be the best third person character in terms of animations?

    In terms of animations? Possibly.

No way to tell without playing the game first though.

Joel from The Last of Us will probably take the top spot when that game is released though.

It was a pretty bold statement. So much so that I audibly gasped when I heard that in the trailer.

But for the life of me, I can only think of a couple of characters that are on par with the animations we've seen from Connor so far. And, since we've only seen a small selection of all the animations, Ubisoft might just be correct in saying that he is the most complex action-game character.

It's possible, but from what I saw, a lot of the events in that demo looked WAY too scripted. Unless the game is just incredibly context-sensitive.

Red dead redemption had some pretty realistic animations tailored to the given genre. They may not be as robust as Connor but the combination of Marston and his horse was very detailed.

The horses were very impressive, but John himself was nothing special as far as animations go. Not dissing that game at all, it's one of my favorites, but still.

I say it's going to be a tie between Connor and Desmond.
