I have an A- grade connection with 8.80Mb/s of download and 1.99 Mb/s of upload with 13Mb/s of PING and still lag sometimes, with that speed you shouldnt have problems of that kind.
What is your connection like? Cable, Optical fiber, Wi-Fi...

Yeah... The net code suck and ubi know it's there problem not ours but always put it back to my connection.
It is NOT about the download/upload, the requirement for MP are minimal.
It all about the PING, all about the distance to your toom mates. If you play with guys all over the globe, there will be lag... distance lag, no matter how much you can download per second.
That's why p2p will always be better than dedicated servers, because it miminzes distance lag. Dedicated server can only be just as good as p2p.
If anything, upload matters to some degree, but with > .5 Mb/s you are good to go.
