Uplay/Ruse not linking so no rewards | Forums

Unable to see or use Uplay rewards in Ruse. Gold chip is greyed out in options , unable to upgrade pershing to super, and no d-day map. When I Try to enter uplay beta ( default in ruse) I get the following message. The ubisoft account you entered doesn't exist. Please double check the username and password, then try again: It like Ruse and uplay beta isnt communicating. After the error messange log in with my account information and it brings up my account showing all rewards and stats. Exit out of uplay beta (back to Ruse) and enter uplay beta agian with same error.

Questions are the following 1> Where is the Uplay account information stored with Ruse steam version.

2. Is it possiable to re-link uplay and Ruse.

3. IF 2 is no is there a was to remove and add a uplay aco**** information.

I have tried the few mention steps on the fourms in regards to remove Ruse data files from steam to no effect, really seems like its simply that steam Ruse and uplay arn't linked, even to I can log into uplay and have all my data show up, and the ruse site and have all my stats show up.

THanks for the pm CDO 2PL fixed the issue, god wih tech support would have told me that instead of giving me the run around for a week.

Apparently I seem to have the same problem. I got the steam version of RUSE and when i try to enter Uplay Beta. I get the Ubisoft account you entered doesn't exist. I can however type in the info manually. But that doesn't seem to help tho as none of the stuff I've done in the game seems to have registered.

Hey there, I seem to have this exact issue, I attempted to delete my profile from my ruse folder as per suggestion in another thread however that just seems to mess up my multiplayer interaction desynchronizing me with other players, even though both of us can see each others build orders but not movement orders. Any help would be appreciated

P.S. sorry for necroing a thread didn't want to create a new thread.

I solved this issue by changing my current password, which contained symbols, to a dumber one : it WORKS. Seriously... However, Ruse only appears in the version of Uplay you can access through Ruse. The game does not appear in my "standalone" Uplay client. But they are now properly linked and rewards are properly unlockable. Still, the way I get it working shows how pathetic Uplay is.
