Silverchair is on an indefinite hiatus as of last year I think. It's safe to say it's over for them. Skid row has a different singer than they did when they were more famous.
Sebastian Back just put out a new album this or last year, I believe.
That reminds me of when Napster was the big deal. I was just getting into punk music. There's a band called Me First and the Gimme Gimme's that do only cover songs. So in Napster you would find pretty much any punk sounding song that was a cover, was incorrectly titled as being a Me First song.

Ah yes, thank you. Quite a few awesome covers on there actually.
Oh and that's not actually Willie Nelson singing the bonus track. It is just a fan impersonating him.

Yeah WTF happened to Jessie and the Rippers? Lol
On another note thanks for taking me down memory lane on a lot of bands I had totally forgotten about. I'll need to burn up my credit card at the iTunes store with some of this stuff. I think this thread is telling me we need an occasional one hit wonder pack from RS. Two or three times a year would be awesome. (Sticky thread material. I know.)
-So Ezio...where does an Assassin learn guitar these days?
-Rocksmith...
Frank Black never disappeared - but the title of thread inspired me to share this from the "Teenager of the Year" tour. If you get just one Frank Black CD - get TOTY.
Enjoy!
