    What Ever Happened To..........

After I posted my last comment, I thought I would start a thread where we can post about bands that disappeared under the radar or maybe even disbanded.
    AND BEGIN POSTING......................

    Like This Band....... Silverchair.
At the time they were pretty good, first album anyway, last I heard the stuff the have recorded is just to embarrassing to post LOL.

Dogs D'Amour... One of my favorite end of hair band/british bar band groups... Cool sound. I have some Japanese imports that I still listen to today...

And my favorite end of hair band group... They'd have been huge of they had hit about 2 years earlier. GREAT songwriting, far above what most groups were doing then... Just too late to the game.

And for the 90 alternative crowd... Chalk Farm was another great group that had about 30 seconds of fame for this song. Some of the most well written songs of the Gin Blossoms / Hootie / etc. era. They just didn't catch on in a big way...

I'd like to see this in RS one day, too. Loved this CD. Thought this was a great song. Just never caught on. Splender - "Yeah, Whatever".

Baton Rogue. This was their big hit. Saw them the night before HS graduation in 1990 at a small club. I was so hung over at graduation, I almost threw up on stage.

True but Sparkle and Fade was a good album by them!

Back in the 1970's when I was a kid. There used to be this big band called KISS. Their skin tone was very pale in complexion, ( I remember thinking to myself if these guys ever go out in the sun their gonna get skin cancer). I think eventually around 1983 they actually did spend some time in the sun because they put out this album called "Lick it Up" and they were really really tan, and almost unrecognizable to the naked eye. So I must've been correct because that band KISS was never heard of again after 1983 but they must have been extremely popular because next week their is a tribute band playing KISS covers touring with Motley Crue in Phoenix.
But really there's no way they can be a sgood as the original 4 members with the super white complexions from way back in the day
