    Tab would be nice

I'm new to this game, I never played Guitar Hero or Rock Band, i've only played Stratocasters and Ovation acoustics mostly, but i seem to be struggling with the color coded string arrangement. I'm thinking maybe I need to buy a few packs of those Alexei Laho Colored Elixer strings or Maybe guitar tab would be nice.

I can't imagine what a barre chord is gonna look like ( it would b cool to maybe use chord names like B7 or Bm etc...)

I find myself thinking (A) string or (D) and then I see yellow or blue and I'm like Huh, and I end up missing a total bar or a whole phrase

Also I would like to see some acoustic electric sets added???

    Anyhow Rock On

P.S. sorry if I posted this in the wrong part of the forum

You can flip string layout in options to make it look more like a tab.

Yes, flip the strings in the option menu if you think that will help - differant people like it differant ways.

The chords are named in the game B7, Bm etc, (not the single notes) you must not have got to them yet.

The string color is a small learning curve. It won't take long before you don't have to think about it. Some people have tried the colored strings, but I don't think it's worth doing. The angle you look down on the strings at would be hard to differentiate the lower (higher note) strings. You'll also find that you won't be looking at the strings as much as you may be now - the game kind of forces you to look at the screen while playing (that's a good thing).

I would buy a Rocksmith tab book if one came out. It would be a pretty big book with all the songs and arrangements.

    Right on guys,

Thanks for the feedback, i'll look at flipping the strings when i get a chance. I just got the game yesterday so i haven't gotten to the actual chord names yet but can't wait to progress through the game and start really jamming out

i have noticed when i started that i was having trubbles looking at the tv and moving to the right frets and getting that g string but after iv played it alote i can play without looking at the fret board and i do not miss my g string . the colors of the strings don't matter to me because when your standing you cant see all the strings anyways
