    unable to start the game. Please check that your game has been installed correctly

    I just bought this game today and after installing and patching it. i get this error when playing it in uplay "unable to start the game. Please check that your game has been installed correctly" what do i do?

    Option 1) Try Reinstalling
    Option 2) If You Are Running Windows 7 Find The exe file in the folder and "Right" click on the exe and click "Poperties" then hit the "Compatibility tab" then check the box were it says
    "Run this program in compatibilty mode For" and click "Windows XP Service Pack 3" or a Later one if that one doesnt work.

    Hi, if you are trying to run GRFS in XP the game doesn't support it yet. A compatibility patch will be coming out shortly.

    Empty and incorrect promises. I think "A faulty patch will be coming out shortly" is more accurate.

    Hey Mush, do you know for sure that the XP patch is coming out "shortly"? Or is that a guess?

    What did u do? I am having the same problem. I have installed patches thru 1.4. I am running Win7. I tried compatibility mode as well. Thx!

    Update: I changed compatibility mode to: Vista SP2. Now it tries to start but I get a black screen. I get a small window "Yeti" fatal error.
