So if it's not as easy for you to buy a brand new console why do you assume it's easy for others to buy it? They cost money, money that quite frankly could be put to better use than buying a new console. If a 360 owner really wanted a PS3 they would have bought one already. To me buying a new console is like an investment. I want to make sure I'm gonna be getting my money's worth. If there's nothing I'm interested in, I won't buy it. Not out of brand loyalty (which in my eyes is a stupid reason for not buying a console) but because I would like my money to be well spent. That is the reason why we won't go out and buy a brand new console for one game. And for the record I'm actually a 360 owne which I've already said.

To answer your question: no, simply because exclusive content is not enough to make me fork out £200 on a new console. I wouldn't be that bothered about it. Sure I'd be disappointed but I wouldn't demand Ubisoft give it to the other console. Clearly this has bothered you. The best thing to do would be to create a petition on the AC3 boards to get it's exclusive content released on the 360 (which it no doubt will do after a month or so anyway). Getting all up in arms about something that will come to you sooner or later is just baffling. There's no point.

I haven't bought a PS3 yet simply because the games that I'm interested in playing, aren't enough to make me spend my hard earned money on one. The Last of Us has changed all that. That is a game that I have to play. So I will buy a PS3 for that game but it won't be the only game that I'll play. Same goes for the 360. If Watch Dogs was exclusive to the 360 and I had a PS3, I would buy a 360 in a heartbeat in order to play that game but first I'd make sure there was other games I'm interested in.

that is correct,, consoles do cost money and most can't afford 2 consoles or more


speaking of watch dogs, great game trailer and definately a crowd pleaser at E3
talk about ubi being sercret, they hid that game well!
not sure if they mentioned a platform, but i would not be surprised if that game is a current gen game and also a Nex-Gen title

same here, if watch dogs, or SCBL or AC3 were exclusive to ps3, then i would try to buy a ps3....the prices are cheap now
and plus sony has a new Slim comiung out for $99, though i would've prefered it not have the 16gb mem and sell it for $50
for us that don't have a ps3 yet, it's probably best to wait for the ps4, and hopefully it'll have 100% backwards compatibility

my primary purchase will be the Xbox 720 next year, and the Wii-U this year and then a PS4 later on

And you started this thread saying how it's unfair that PS3 get exclusive content for AC3 and you want something for SCB (not SCBL) on the 360.

i wasn't arguing, the initial point of this thread was stemmed from 2 things from one day
1. pre-order bonus content for a certain game by Ubisoft, with each store having their own and we gamers are not happy about this, because it makes no sense to do so......the experience should be equal and have all people play it all...and i mentioned to have all that bonus stuff be on the disc, that way people can pre-order from any store and play it all
^^i', assuming you have no issue with that business model?


2. then ubisoft announces exclusive content for a certain game and for a certain console

so, i decided to make this thread directed at Ubisoft and not so much you guys
^^long story short, i was letting out some steam, and thus comes the ps3 guys yapping and to something intended for Ubisoft
it felt good the first page in this forum, but then the ps3 guys decided to get defensive and angry at what i was saying
^^i never started the arguing, i was just making a point and then came the ps3 guys provolking and getting upset...
i was simply responding and being defensive to counter your defensive stance


anyways, much like you guys would get angry at ubisoft if 360 got exclusive SCBL content and i am very sure that you would let tUbisoft know and possbly make a thread as i did here and then the 360 guys and others would come in and react in the same way you guys have towrads my thread..

i can care less now, because the thread for whom it was intended for has not replied and doubt they will....though i'm sure they might have read this

ps3 guys can be a bit over zealous and nutty and they were an extreme group
and so my quote is based off of that.......they argued over a console (ps3 being the best ever and slammed the 360 and every opportunity), ..while we 360 guys played games and bought games and supported those games more so than the ps3 community, which at the time they weren't selling game like games were selling on the 360

and the ps3 guys i am refering to is you and some othes replying, debating and arguing with me
you choose to reply in this thread and you didn't have to......all you had to do is send me a PM and maybe ask me what is my deal, and that would've calmed the situation and be all cool!

and being that this thread is up to the 5th page already, and didn't expect go passed the 1st page, then there are those upset at what i posted and and took the defensive route and argued/debated back, and BINGO 5th page
i could've not replied to you guys and that wasn't my intention, but at that time i was a bit pissed off and wanted to direct it here....and i'm over it now
