    Good online bass material

Hey folks, I'd like to know what are the best bass material availabe online, preferrably free. When we knew about the patch on Aug 14th mi fiancee dropped her bass classes and kept only the piano classes. Now she will learn from Rocksmith and from bass material she can find on the web. We are looking for instructional videos, techniques explanations, tips, exercises, things like that. Thanks!

This guy does a pretty good job at teaching things, and is pretty entertaining.

StudyBass.com has a lot of good free bass lessons. It was where I got the majority of my knowledge from prior to buying books on music theory and bass. Which by the way work in tandem the more theory you know the better at improv you are likely to get. Plus, at least for me, the more you understand the composition of a song the easier it is to learn.
