Same thing here. Deleted the 1.03 patch, deleted the Bass DLC, reinstalled everything and it worked. .

I deleted the 1.03 patch, reinstalled the patch, reinstalled the bass dlc and it still froze when I went to play a song. The only reason I bought this game when it came out is because I knew eventually I could use my bass. Finally when the Bass DLC came out, the game keeps crashing. Really disappointed and hope it gets fixed.

I also have problems with the Bass Career / Journey being blank.
1.First I installed the update on 8/14,
2. Installed the bass exp.
3.The game auto saved my guitar career with the new patch.
4. I created a new game on a different HD and works fine but my old saved game is stuck with the problem. I reached level 9 on guitar and dont intend to erased it.
Please Advise.

I had the game lock up on me in the song selection menu. Not a recurring problem. High scores are not working in the mini games. I have had repeated lock ups in the Bass technique challenges. Locks ups would trigger when I select Play Again after playing a challenge once. I can work around this buy selecting Continue instead and then navigating back to the challenge. I have PS3 version

Now that I reached level 6 in bass career it is crashing pretty frequently. This is the same thing that was happening before with PS3. Crash,crash,crash. No one really tested this patch out. Impossible.

Well, for a minute I thought that all was well with me and the Bass pack but, I WAS WRONG !!! I noticed last night, 08/19, that as I was playing the bass technique challenges, one after the other, my PS3 froze. So I restarted the system and, lo and behold, it happened again.

So tonight, 08/20, I decided to do a Test; I played (Bass of course) for a while in RR with no problems and then decided to rehearse both 'Where is my mind' & 'I can't get no satisfaction' and did so without issue I then proceeded to the Technique Challenges and did a few without issue but, as I selected 'Continue Journey', I heard the sound of my selection register but again the system froze. I restarted and went once again to the Technique Challenges and proceeded to play in same but, again, as I chose to 'Continue Journey', my system locked up

I cannot understand this at all !!??? Here I am, like everyone else who wanted bass, waited patiently for the patch and the Bass expansion, sprung my hard earned bucks excitedly for same and now this ??? Where is the Quality Control ? Prior to this patch and Bass expansion, I experienced a couple of sporadic freezes without doing anything specific that I could pinpoint but now, after all of the reassurances of a FIX and the promised Bass which I rushed to buy with confidence, I have now experienced more freezes than I ever had since I bought RS last November. How long do we have to wait for another fix now guys ? This is totally unacceptable and, this leaves me to question how thoroughly you folks responsible for development, have really 'stress tested' the patch and Bass pack before 'rushing' them to market ? Is it that our love for guitar playing has caused us to overlook the regular way to learn same and, instead, pick up a Quick fix product that's full of BUGS ??

Truly, that's not what I want to believe but this is stealing all of the fun, joy and excitement from a product I felt sure was a modern day technological wonder. I am fast approaching the point of just wanting to delete the Bass and asking for a refund if possible. This is really frustrating as we are now at one week post release and already having more issues than I ever did before. Please Ubi and Gamebryo, please do something speedily about this situation and reaffirm my, our trust in your product.

In the challenges, If I choose play again it sends me into an endless saving loop, causing me to have to restart. This causes all progress since the last save to disappear.
Luckily I am an animal and only had to play most of them twice But I had to go back to the challenges menu and come back to the same one in order to avoid the bug.

Tried basic challenge, then chose the play again option, first time it locked up on the tweed load screen and then on subsequent tries it seemed to load up the next challenge level (more notes). So essentially having played the basic challenge and wanting to redo it as it was presented originally is not possible. I assume I should normally be able to redo a challenge. Pretty sure same issue in techniques section of the game, play again doesn't work.

That is the dynamic leveling. Once you complete a level with some competency it will add more notes, and take you to the next level.

And the dynamic leveler is great rcole_sooner, but now we have additional issues which messes with the enjoyment inherent in this software. Why is it that, when in the Bass Techniques Challenges, you can play a bunch of various challenges and sometimes even repeat them, but when you choose to exit same, the entire game freezes ?? I know that with software releases on PCs, there are innumerable variances to cater for as not two PCs are configured the same way even though they may have identical Operating Systems but Consoles ?? With the exceptions of make i.e: Microsoft/Xbox, Sony/PS3, Nintendo/Wii, the consoles of each brand are all fundamentally the very same, if not identical, so why is it that after this length of time since software release, and the promises of resolutions, that we still have added problems surfacing ?

I LOVE Rocksmith, don't get me wrong and I know the developers are a small group with limited resources but, bringing a buggy program to market and then releasing purchaseable expansions before the original bugs are straightened out is truly mind bogglig to me If you notice from my prior posts, I am not one given to complaing and, to the contrary, I have been very commending of this 'digital wonder' of present day named Rocksmith but, egads !!! this is becoming very frustrating and patience testing Please Ubi and Gamebryo Lightspeed, please pull a 'Warp-speed' resolution and make us, your loyal supporters satisfied
