I'm not sure if i spelled it right, but the mission in assassins creed 2 where you have to drive the carriage with Leonardo in it is where I'm having the problem. When guards get to the front and grab you, it says to push Shift repeatedly to throw them off. But no matter how fast i hit Shift, nothing happens, and I'm thrown off and have to restart. Please help, I really want to continue. Also I'm not the only person to have this problem, so I don't know if its been solved before, if it was, I couldn't find it.

have you tried shift+right mouse key?

Yes, I've tried high profile, low profile, armed hand button, legs. I couldn't think of anything else.

Tried pressing Space instead?
You have to press the same button you use to grab opponents.

Oops sorry , didn't. Mean to post that twice. Yes I know that but I was just trying everything I could think of. Is there a way I could skip the level or something and continue on?

There's no way to skip the level, but it's possible to get through without the guards ever grabbing you. Just keep swaying the cart left and right whenever they try to hang on until they fall off.

i've never seen the guards grab ezio in that mission, i've always managed to shook them off right away. You do know you can run the guards over before they manage to climb on? you just have to push them aside
