    It Might Get Loud

I don't know if any of you guys have seen this, but it's Jack White, Jimmy Page, and The Edge all together telling their stories and talking about the electric guitar. There is some playing too of course. Really good film. Best of all, it's free to watch! Check it out.

Definitely think folks should check it out since it's free. I ended up not really liking it that much. I forget why, but I seem to recall their personalities didn't really mesh that well, and when they got together it felt a bit awkward. Maybe I set my expectations too high.

I liked the individual backgrounds they did on each of the guitarist, but when they got together it was just underwhelming. Seems like it could have been much better but nothing really happened.

I actually thought it was really good. They're musicians and they do what musicians do.. play music. It was really cool to see how they just kind of figured things out and talked about what they were playing and played.

opening sequence of this film is incredible. "who needs to buy a guitar?" its a great contrast from the edge to jack white. of course jimmy page is still amazing too. love this movie very much.

Lol I loved that opening too!

I can see the point about the interactions being lacking. There really wasn't much there. I have to imagine that there was really just so much there to tell that they had to make a choice, or it would be a 7 hour movie. It was really cool to see places where they rehearsed and played. It was also cool to hear how each got their first guitar and how they came into their respective careers.

I didn't get the chance to see it when it was in theaters. I'm glad that it's free to watch. I'm going to have to check it out now.
