I would love to participate on this one, but sadly I have to work 15 hours a day the whole week :/ This is easily my favorite bonus song, and I would love to learn it better, but good luck to everyone else!

Nice pick! I like this one and Space Ostrich from the bonus pack. The solo part is beyond my level though. . Leaving on vacation this Friday so I don't think I can do much this week and next. Good luck everyone! (no score posted yet?)

Initial score in - 98k. I think i am giving up on leveling solo 3.

This might be my final score for the week. Glad got into 100k.

Sweet! I got it levelled. No moral dilema for me this week.

If this solo required 100% notes hit I'd be screwed, just barely eeked out the level-up at 95% to push it to 100% mastery. I think that is on disc master 121 for me when I get the 100k in a few mins.

Posted my initial score after levelling the solo.

RCole, didn't mean to scare you. But I think this one was a more difficult one to level than Jessica. It really allows you to miss a lot of notes because it is a multi-block solo, but even then it's really not that easy (at least in my humble opinion it was difficult).

I also think it is fast enough that it will be hard to play cleanly. In my runthrough I really was sloppy on a few of the faster sections, so I'm hoping to improve on that in the week.

Posted my score at 107.9k. Almost positive I will not level this solo 3 any further for i am fumbling it. Thanks to seeing SeattleSuave score I am reassured after this and last week I am still in the correct Division. My almost 10 months of playing still cannot compete against Division 1 players on difficult songs for these guys have 10+ years under their belts.

Count me as another that doesn't have Jules unlocked (or anything else, for that matter). So I might sit this one out, wanted to work on some other favourite songs that I really want to master (in particular, Smoke. And maybe Alabama and/or Reaper, but I think those are beyond my abilities for now.)

Just play a half dozen events (or less) with the same songs (easy songs/songs you've already mastered). When you're qualifying each song, stop playing just after you reach the qualifying score so RS still thinks you're a noob going into each event. Nail the encore and then play the double, and you'll quickly unlock the bonus songs...you might get lucky and have Jules be the very first song unlocked...maybe less than 30 minutes of your time to unlock a few of the bonus songs on a new profile. Additionally, you should be able to play ALL (DLC is playable across all your profiles) songs without any freezes until you reach RS level 6 on the new profile.

I was never able to unlock any bonus songs originally, but once I started adding new profiles to play RS with, I've been able to unlock them quick & easy. I have Jules unlocked, just have to switch profiles to find it.
I guess if you use a new profile and "game" the scoring system to unlock songs, the songs are only unlocked in that new profile? And then playing any selected unlocked bonus songs for a weekly challenge would result in high scores for those songs, which means the game doesn't stay fooled for very long as to you status? It would be kinda funny if your score is barely 30K on Satisfaction, but triple that on Jules or some other unlocked song...

Just to check, play the barest minimum to "qualify" a song for an event, but when actually playing the event, do you do the same (i..e just enough to meet qualifying score), or do you have to do as well as possible in the song at that time, in order to get the encore?

I feel better now I watched this video and I beat Seth Chapla's score for his own song. Seriously now why doesn't he have have this mastered? Not sure if I would let them take that video of me playing a song of mine not fully leveled up. I wonder if this is why steeljake calls him a hack?

Well, I say that my last 8 months of consistent playing are worth more than the previous 30 years of in and out, sometimes I feel like it, sometimes I don't, playing. So, I would stick more to the guidelines for the divisions than how long it has been since the first time you picked up a guitar. If you can master Good Enough (pun intended), go for it. Otherwise, keep trying and you will get there before you know.

After watching the video I felt like playing this song again... Steamroller, I will give it a try and I'll try to unlock it with one of my other PS3 profiles. Thanks for the hint.
