I am super excited for the new release in the series. What does everyone think about where they are taking the story? I think its really interesting the setting they are using since you don't see a lot of games in that era. I cant wait!

I'm super excited for the release. Having played all the previous games in this series, and being a HUGE history buff, I think this is going to be insanely interesting. The trailer looked amazing and beautiful! I'm also curious to see this new engine they used in this one. Going to be epic! Can't wait to get my hands on this one

To say that I am excited about the upcoming game is an understatement. I've had two Desmond hoodies ordered since January, the October encyclopedia ordered since March, the limited edition version of the game pre-ordered through Best Buy, and will be picking up that Crystal Vita bundle for Liberation when that comes out. I also had friends of mine who attended PAX snag a pin for me (that is always kept in my purse), and another friend of mine shipped me the inflatable tomahawk they had at SDCC since I was unable to go.
I'm going to miss Ezio, as I became rather attached to him, but I am looking forward to learning about Connor through the game and the upcoming novel. It will be interesting to see how his story ties in with the other games and Desmond. I'm also curious about Desmond's state after coming out of the coma and having his father with him. The end of October can't get here soon enough!

I'm really hoping the series will take us to a full fledged Desmond game(maybe with a New York City backdrop theme) as for the 3rd definitely looking forward to slaying some red coats.
As someone who got the chance to mess around with the AC3 multiplayer.. I CAN'T WAIT! I need this now!

I can't wait to try combat on the high seas. It looks really impressive and I don't recall playing anything like that in another video game.
I know there are some games out there exclusively dedicated to that kind of maritime warfare, but that really is for a niche market. When the AC3 battleship feature was unveiled a few months ago I was so excited. Same for the moving hay bales.Originally Posted by Pixxel FD
One thing I've always adored about the AC franchise is that it's an annual title that never fails to add new features and continue an intriguing story. Not a lot of annual titles/sequels can claim the same.

Did everyone get to see the new trailer?! It looks amazing and makes me even more excited! I'm debating on replaying all of them on stream to catch everyone up before the new game comes out <3
