Unable to connect to host | Forums

I'm always trying to play with a friend on Ubisoft games but im never able to connect to him or vise versa, i live in England and him Germany, in other games we can connect easily but only those on Uplay we never can connect to each other through the multiplayer, i was wondering if its the same all over and if Uplay is just **** or if there is a way to fix it.
