The great thing about basses is the quality difference between a $200 bass and a $1000 bass is significantly smaller than the difference between $200 guitar and a $1000 guitar.

Almost any cheap bass is orders above any cheap guitar in way of quality.

You can be sure that any bass you buy will sound great. Simply put, heavier strings and greater tension require a better built instrument, even on the low end of the price scale.

Congrats though, that bass is a real looker!
