It's like the tobacco company trying to get teenagers hooked on cigarettes.

Now, I'm not saying that these kids shouldn't be allowed to play video games, what I am saying is that they need to start developing games for adults. I'm tired of playing games where I feel like I'm being babysat by the game...

Don't want to look for enemies? Here's a sensor nade

Don't want to die quickly? Here's regen health

Don't want to expose yourself but still see the world around you? Here's a cover system

Don't want to cover a flank? Here's a stun mine, claymore, sentry turret

Don't want to run out but still play? Here's a UAV/UCAV

I enjoy the mechanics of this game, but I would enjoy it even more if it was just my gun, my wits and my experience against other people.
A very high percentage of people I've meant on this game are over 20. Most little kids get their butts owned in this game.

You can see the world around without exposing yourself in any 3rd-person shooter regardless if the game has a cover system or not. You are playing the game wrong if you are using the cover system a lot. People in cover are so easy to get to and kill.
Standing behind cover >>>>>>>> sticking to cover.

    What shooter doesn't have traps?

You need to use more wits to beat the other team in this game than a shooter where you just use your gun. Less tactics in play = less of your brain being used.

The so-called crutches just punish campers, just don't camp. On Overpass, I run right down the middle of the map at the start of the match, I don't get seen let alone detected by anything.

Got it...You want Ghost Recon Future Camp

Well said, redstorm managed to remove some of the tactical feel from the game.

It's not GRAW3, and shouldn't be treated as such. I'm not blasting your opinion, but it seems that most of the people who dispute that this game seemed to have wanted a GRAW3, not another step in a broader Ghost Recon story. TBH, i never noticed the lack of regen health in GRAW2, because, as you said, it DID take quicker to kill someone. Also, all those little toys make this game great, really they do. A straight up shooter with no bells and whistles wouldn't last in todays market, with all the ADHD kids running around they need something with flashy lights (a joke...... kinda lol). As different as this game feels, that feeling of having to work as a team, being cautious, and not just running around. All the intel items keeps people from running off by themselves, and forces communication, which in turn is promoting the heart of the TC games in a way, right? Ever notice if your in a room with Randoms with no mmics, and your up against a room of mic'd guys, it's more likely you'll get stomped? I'm not trying to argue, i'm am just trying to get you to see the fun in this change. Do you usually play with a party? If not, i suggest you do, this game was meant to be played with 4 or 5 other friends. I'm on Ps3, and i assume your on 360, however, if your PS3, and in the US, shoot me a friend request, i'd love to add you and get you into an MP match with my friends and I, show you how fun this game really is.
yes, I always play the game with clanmates and we completely smah almost everyone we play. Most of my member have over a 2.20 like myself. The game just seems boring and very repetitive. See you missed my point I was trying to make. Think about this redstorm ripped off mgo, cod and battlefield(otr scanner). Now that games such as socom and recon have imo got away from their roots of being somewhat realistic tactical shooter. The gimmicks these companies added to their game will eventually destroy their game. Look what happened to zipper and socom 4.

They are doing this on purpose,

As the designer of the original Ghost Recon, Brian Upton understands the challenges Ubisoft has been facing. "Ghost Recon was designed for a very different gaming world. It was a PC title in an era when there was still an expectation that gamers wanted complex strategic challenges. But modern shooters are much more about creating fun thrill rides than deep challenges. If you're going to survive in that environment, you have to adapt.

But SOCOM4 was just literally COD but in 3rd-person, GRFS is nothing like COD.

I agree about smashing every team I play and it gets boring, but that isn't an issue with the gameplay itself. There needs to be a room system (not customizable rooms) so the pros can play the pros, the average player can play the average player, and the newbs can play the newbs. I made a topic last week about with an idea that any party of 4 or greater should get put into the squad match pool so they MUST play another party or a squad instead of randoms.

Yes but GRFS is almost identical to SOCOM 4 with toys, yet you are saying SOCOM 4 was like COD but GRFS is nothing like COD.
    You seem very confused.
