    IP hacking...cool

The results are looking good, seems to be a variety of combinations though it looks like CT is more preferred.
Ah, well i would have voted anything else but that is pretty dissolute...

CT's missions like Kokobu Soshu, The Displace building, and Penthouse would be great if they had hacking like DA, and maybe the email encryption cube would be fun again... Everything pre-conviction was great, all mashed together with the best bits of them, with SCC's movement and cover systems would be ideal though. Only thing i'm iffy about in SCB is the mission with the airstrike, seemed way to High-Profile to be called Splinter Cell. Like the "Black Hawk Down" Movie..."Washington, in it's infinite wisdom, have decided that an AC-130 Spectre Gunship would be too high profile"; And Splinter Cell is always high risk Espionage, not U.S. Army Rangers all by yourself, just irks me.

Guess what! You have your chaos theory with blacklist!

    Here's the saying

"Keep your enemies close. Update your Blacklist."

I did rephrase it but in the literal sense, it's similar. And no, it's not "Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer."
The more I play SCC, the more I think SCC and SCB are more optimized for panther and assault. Playing ghost is not really a fun factor unlike the old SC games. For that matter, I think SCB should at least be played panther or assault (not over use). We all hope SCB is more classic since it is still in production but you can't change the fact that the series is taking this way. Therefore, you play it the way it's meant to be played. Though, I am not ruling out ghosting in SCB, it's possible and can be fun but the game is more optimized for panther/assault.
    Therefore:
SC1-4: Ghost player SCC and SCB: Panther/(Occasional)Assault
    Overall: GHOST PLAYER

Sam I like how you gave the option for a combination of titles, I voted for CT & C.

for me C had a great gameplay, good story, and it felt really great to me, I enjoyed the hell out of it, still play to this day from time to time.

while CT was actually also over the top amazing, it had immersion and atmosphere, and the stealth was 2nd to non.

SC3 and SC5 was my choice.

CT = the more memorable game

C = the more re playable but unfulfilled game

BTW doesn't anyone else think Sam looked the youngest in CT?

Pandora Tomorrow's AI has the BEST sharp hearing. Conviction has the fluidity of movement.

    So vote SC2 + Conviction.

But my fear is that with developer time and effort going into the M&E and animations for movement and killing, that what I miss as the real "meat" of what Splinter Cell has been about for me won't be there. That being hacking, one-off moments of defeating a high-tech piece of security (eg using thermal to see the warm buttons on a keypad), or identifying a target, or recording a conversation.

I know Pat Redding said the missions won't all be about takign out a target - And you will have to take missions to identify a target, etc etc... I am really hoping this is a go-back for the franchise instead of this blood-lust mindset that the latest generation of gamer posesses.
That's why it's so refreshing to see that many new games are trying to give options to killing. Deus ex: human revolution & dishonored are two games that were/are hyped simply because you can opt to not kill anyone (except bosses in DE:HR). Also, Portal 1 and 2 are hailed as some of the best games ever made, and they are also devoid of killing.

I think the ultra violence that has been in the industry these last few years will end soon, players are getting more mature. It's only a matter of time before gaming will mature along with the players.

If the industry is targeting toward the young audience at least 18+ then yeh when this age group matures, games go along with it. Then it just jumps back to the new 18+ group again. Not saying it might, but depending on the future market but it's a likely situation. In the very past, say early 2000 lol, yeh, considering technology advances every 3 months or so, yeh, a long time ago, lol, now these games were awesome, you got your classic Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, simulations, classic RTS games like Red Alert, Air simulators, F-15, Nuclear Strike, Comanche Gold, Mig-29, ah, good times, good times, good old days. These games seem to be intended for older audiences, I say 35+ or at least 30+. I was young but I manage to play those games.

Nowadays many things or commercials seems to be intended for younger audiences. Just look at all those commercials, anything really, ranging from car commercials, drink commercials, etc. It was only a month or so ago or this year ads were intended for older people, now it completely changed. Look at that Dr. Pepper drink commercial, Chevrolet, etc. LOL really gets on my nerve. Anyways, I don't care much about those anyways. I don't drink Dr. Pepper or want to buy a Chevrolet. I am more Nissan or Toyota. Maybe Ford. lol

Results are looking good! It's here devs. See what your fans are clinging toward!

Either of the first 3, or the first 3 mixed with elements of SCC. Either of those would be fine! I really hope that's what SCB is (or at least close....that way maybe then SC7 will be even more like the classics with the new mixed)
