if you bought the game when it first came it, it cost you 80 bucks and did not come with bass add on... most all other good game companies do not screw their customers like this. the way i view it, we've paid to beta test rocksmith for ubisoft. this expansions should cost everyone 30 bucks, not just the people dumb enough to buy software while it was in it's beta stage. almost a year for a patch that might fix our ps3 crashes is not acceptable.... the pc version pushed back a year. not acceptable... this list of bs goes on and on. i've very unsatisfied with their business practices. and rocksmith is just basically a more visually appealing rip off of guitar pro... if ubi were'nt trying suck every penny out of us on this they would allow for custom song tab/creation. keep being blind and rocksmith will just die like all the other cheesy games out there or they could wake up and allow people to have control over the songlist they want to learn... do that and rocksmith will outsell guitar pro and all the others.

they already got my cash, but i wont be fooled again.

Why did this thread turn into something about ubisoft and their business practices? I just wanted to let everyone know that the Bass dlc and patch got moved to August 14. We don't have to get mad and violent here. If you don't want to buy from them, then don't buy from them. Don't complain here. I think there is another section on the website for complaining to Ubisoft.

I dunno, but let's all get back to being happy about the bass DLC.

At least until the skin is worn off my fingers. That is why I stopped playing bass last time. I weren't my frettin' fingers either, it was my thumpin' fingers. LOL!
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

Hey. same here. haha. I don't play bass often, but I've play bass a few times. At the end of each time, my fingers on my right hand hurt more than my fretting fingers. I guess its cause my left hand fingers are already toughened up from guitar a bit. My right hand has always used a pick. x.x

Heh, then maybe those of us who started on classical guitar have a very minor headstart on this... although obviously the nylon strings hardly cause any discomfort, even the wound strings aren't anywhere close to the thickness of even the highest bass string.

Just a reminder - posting intent to pirate software - is an offence - so please do not post saying you intend to do..

illegal downloading of software cost's the industry billions - money which could be used to make bigger and better games..

It's also against the forum rules [oddly enough]

I'll have to borrow someone's bass for this!
