WTH, I dont mind if they show non-intrusive ADs for their own games, But this? Maybe its just a random bug (not necessary on Ubi's part, can be their AD provider messed things), I didnt see this myself so far.

Probably this is because they are fast losing money due to not listening to their customers. So they're going to do some more talking on behalf of some other companies in the hope of making some back.

This banner should indeed not have shown in Uplay PC. It's nothing but a placeholder ad from our banner management tool (and probably not something you would be interested in anyway! ). I've forwarded the picture you submitted to the appropriate team.

Banners in Uplay PC will only ever show our own content (new game releases, new content, discounts, etc.), and no third party ads.

Indeed the issue persists. I'm showing the same exact ad as Syeef over here.

Anyone else notice this? For now all I'm seeing is a single ad banner at the bottom for something called ADTECH.

It appears like this AD is only shown when Uplay is in "steam mode". I dont get only one thing, why placeholder banner looks like a real one and leads to existing site
