Time to hunt down a reasonable bass

I think we're only around 150 at the moment.

150 is still a LOT of songs. Most bands don't have that many songs in their set lists.

Not sure if I want to shell out the cash for a dedicated bass, but still want to play the arrangements.

I'm hoping it's out on the 14th of Aug.

Has anything been said on how the Bass DLC can be bought? Straight credit card purchase or Microsoft/Playstation points.

Oh crap, I just realized I'm going to be in Whistler at Crankworx that whole week... So if we do get something on the 15th, I won't be trying it until at least the next week.

No, I just counted. 258 arrangements including DLC and locked songs. I've played all but the locked arrangements, don't have them yet.

Edit: Ahh, i said Songs. There are 118 songs but 258 arrangements.

Count on it being XBLA/PSN points. Don't remember any instance where you ha a straight-up credit card purchase. But there's always a chance that they'll sell a download code/card thru places like Gamestop or Best Buy

I was just wondering since I think they said it would be a XBLA sale. And some XBLA games are cash(c.c.) only. Hopefully it's points though, I have a crudload of free MSP's from Bing Rewards

This is great news, especially if it means they're going to finally add "set speed". That's been loooooooong in coming.

    Well, there is another possibility.

The bass expansion might be free.

    My reasoning is that:

    1. Great PR prior to the world release.
    2. Base will be included free in the world release versions, I think.
    3. RB didn't charge extra for Base..or any of the other instruments. RS might be thinking, why should we ?
    4. Simplifies everything, just include it in the patch.
    5. Ubisoft is not cash starved, RS is very profitable, and with the world release..they stand to make a ton of money anyways.
    6. Less grumbling on the forums
    7. Ubisoft has been never even talked about it's price even though the release date is soon, also no price listed anywhere else.

    so free is possible.
