you know the rules! Discuss stuff!

BTW: new rule, whoever makes the first post in the current BUWYWL thread gets to make the next one. meaning Rileypoole is making the next thread this time. obviously if the OP makes a double post that will not count

im in london because i live here!

yay. what did the people who DONT live or come from britain think of the opening ceremony? because being british means i'll likely be quite biased. i loved the cauldron.

also i've edited the OP to include a new rule

Poland here. I loved it. Majority of people from around the world loved it. It had humor the Beijing ceremony completely lacked.

Well, in fact, if you read over the internet, aout 90% percent of people liked Beijing over London, and how can you blame them??? I mean chinese fireworks are WAY more spectacular than Mary Poppins and dozens of children singing a lullaby on their beds for 10 minutes....Cant say it was ugly or poorly, some aspects were technically impressive and well orchestrated, but SURELY BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

And even though the whole Barcelona ceremony in general was not that spectular, the ignite of the fire SURE it was.....

    WOW
