Sam is samtheman, the Recon from the old The Basterds clan, and it would be irresponsible for anyone but him to describe what happened, as anyone else's explanation is likely filled with rumors and hearsay.

I agree with Pookie: It takes a real man to admit wrong-doing, and you have my respect for that, Sam.

In truth, as fun as it was to ban him the first time. You can double down your fun and ban him a second time if things get outta hand!

I acted like i was 12 and called some1 something I shouldn't have then back talked a gm because I had another GM blocked he told me not to block GMs told him they should just make it so they couldn't be blocked was in a game at the time was msging him back saying i would unblock that GM when the game was done before I could send him that msg i was banned until CB ended I understand why I was banned I was out of lane which is why I'm saying sorry now.

But I always enjoyed shooting at you (mostly getting shot in the back) Sam.

I know we had some good times, and I never took any of that angry nonsense seriously. Even minor frustrations like shearwater spawn camping isnt that big of a deal, and you at least made things challenging. People shouldnt take things said over the internet so seriously. It's just a game, guys. It's also the reason I never talk crap in-game, theres no point.

I just acted ignorant even tho I played with all the best players I still was an *** the whole time for no reason most the times id say stuff like YOUR **** MATE now that's a joke but being as ppl cant understand when your joking via text best just to keep stuff to yourself so you don't make yourself the most hated player on GRO like I was I understand my wrong doings I'm happy I was fun to play for some of you I hope you feel the same way in OB

You were a total bleep. You where cocky, and extremely down grading to others. You act like you were god news flash you found out you wasn't and earned the ban hammer. Personally if you earned the ban hammer for you rudeness you should not get a second chance. As always the saying will always stay true "once a *** always a ***" And you saying it was all in joking no it wasn't and that is just a piss poor excuse. And you know it is just so you can play again. I will put money on it that even if you do get to come back you will be nice for a week or two maybe three then your true personality will shine once again.

Personally i will be the only one that will not accept this apology and say that you do not deserve a second chance. Even though you never got on me i have watched you and seen how you treat others that you feel are not up to your standards.

I accept your apology myself, I know how it can be when you get in a group with a bunch of other skilled individuals in a game. You get a real "holier than thou" attitude and it's hard to draw the line between trash talk and trolling when you're actually good and you know it.

I hope you make good on it, and I wish you luck in returning. You only learn from people that are as good as you or better, and you were definitely a better Recon than I Samtheman.

He can still play, it's just his Samtheman account is still banned. Therefore he wont receive any of the perks from closed beta testing i.e; VIP, Gold/Chrome pistols, emblems and the ghost coins (unless he had a second account in closed beta which i think almost everyone who was really into the game did).

Personally i see no reason to permanently ban the account being a first offense and a lack of communication from GM to User and vice versa (i don't fully understand the situation or what transpired though). I do feel though that this is an empty apology in hopes of trying to get his main account unbanned being that its a month after closed beta ended and so very near to VIP Beta/Open Beta.
