PC: Runs Smoothly, But The Environment Is Black? | Forums

Hi,

I have a fresh installation of Ghost Recon: Futre Soldier on my pc, the game loads up perfectly fine and runs smoothly during plying the game. The game forced me to update it to 1.3 before I ever had a chance to play it.

The problem I am experiencing is that the screen is completely black, but only during the missions. The main menu's show up correctly, while playing a mission if I press ESC the menu shows up OK. The subtitles show up at the bottom of the screen OK, as does the crosshair, the option to change wepaons when pressing 1/2/3 etc.. Otherwise it is all "almost" completely black - in the very first mission I am able to see one or two plants perfectly fine, the computer controlled soldiers are visible only when they are highlighted in blue/red/yellow, otherwise they blend in with the black screen.

If I press V to enable the night vision goggles, I am able to see everything Ok (all tinted in green obviously). When using a sniper rifle and using the scope, the view down the scope itself is completely black, but the blurred view outside of the scope is visible. The game runs smoothly, there is no jerky movements, the game loads in seconds, but the normal view is just completely black! Please can someone provide me with a solution to this problem?

My computer is above the required specifications to run the game, as mentioned above it runs absolutely fine.
