Has anyone else tried Island Jumping? Jumping to the islands around your Relto? How far can you get? I've jumped around a bit; still haven't gotten out to the tree or the clock island, but I've hit several of the nearer ones.

Of course, there's not much to do once you get there, except jump to another island. And in my current game I don't have the clock yet; once I get it, I wonder if you can jump to it and if that does anything?

I've looked around for a reference to this somewhere, but couldn't find one easily; if this is a revisitation, please forgive, and point me to the original. Thanks!

Yes, you can jump to that clock island. Had fun trying to get next to the clock for a nice picture. Made a Reltophoto.
But I haven't made it to the treeisland yet. Have seen pictures of someone standing there though. Hope you manage to get there.

The only way to get to an island (other than the main one ) with a tree is with the fly-mode hack. There actually was a picture on the Cyan website of an avvie sitting on the big-pre-TPotS island with a tree, but they took that tree out in the game. (don't know whay.. I would have liked it!) Anyways, you can't do it without a hack. You can get to the two big islands and the closer small ones, but that's it.

Well, it will be fun trying. I almost made it to the clock island. I was on the one next to it and climbed up to the top, then tried the jump but just fell short. This was an older game where I already had the clock. I was taking KI pics and wish I'd thought to snap the shutter when I took that last leap....

I made it to the clock island! Then I overshot.... But here I am, getting ready to spiral my way to the top.

I've made it out to the clock and all the way to the furthest island on the west side (if north is looking at the hut from the Bahro pillars). Took a few tries, but I made it - and without hacking the game.
