Well actually I was referring to the Splinter Cell 1 style 'puzzle' gameplay but at least you agree that the Splinter Cell Conviction style gameplay needs to go!

just make it easy to mod, add models, change skins, create and add maps, add SP/MP missions, add SP/MP campaigns, etc.

the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series come to mind.

wat? the programmers in Ubisoft arent as good as those in Bethesda? or Ubisoft just doesnt give a **** about the players?

Wow, anyone see this kill in motion crap. Is this Splinter Cell or 24(TV series). Not only does this not look like splinter cell but now this looks like a bad game. Like the Bourne conspiracy. This seriously needs to be pulled, it could damage the franchise, which would lead to the end of the Splinter Cell series, It's actually become a series matter, if a game obtains a bad reputation or 'pulls a Duke Nukem Forever', the franchise could end altogether.

look i just drop a few words
i dont mean tha SCB can go ether way ok
its just dont use "UBI said we making Spinter cell for HC and new comer alike" or "They will have stealth"

cause those were the same people who said Conviction was for the HC and Conviction had Stealth.

now, as it stands dont matter what they say, its what they show and right now pure action.
......until stealth is shown i cant back them up

after seeing the trailer and hearing the promises, this is the first splinter cell game i've looked forward to since double agent (1st gen).
i never bought double agent 2nd gen,but i did rent it once for a weekend, beat it and only liked the shanghai level.
then conviction came out and after about a year went by,i saw some friends playing deniable ops,i went out and bought a used copy because deniable ops is the one thing
they did right and did it well.i did play through the sp once to give it a go,and there is not a single mission i want to play over except i did like
    the 3rd echelon hq mission.

after playing through GRFS i thought, man it would be cool if they had a lone wolf option to play through the levels like they've offered in previous games.
then yesterday i saw a more detailed longer version of the blacklist trailer, and sam calling in airstrikes and i thought,,there it is,thats the lone wolf option i wanted.so blacklist looks like a lone wolf version of future soldier.

i don't know how blacklist will turn out but it can't possibly be as bad as conviction.and heres to hoping splinter cell can regain the stealth throne, because with hitman,
dishonored and watchdogs on the horizon, there is some stiff competition.

i would pre-order blacklist, but i don't have enough confidence in it just yet. need to see some stealth gameplay.

''You can't just play the same game over & over without getting bored of it. We want a new, fun, classic experience of classic Splinter Cell. Essentially new missions & a story line with the same gameplay''

If people get bored playing the same game over and over again, then why would they want classic Splinter Cell gameplay back? Doesn't make any sense to me. If anything those people should be happy that Conviction / Blacklist have changed the gameplay. They won't go back to the slower paced gameplay because there is absolutely no point. Why spend the time and effort in rebuilding Conviction only for them to go back to the slower paced gameplay of Chaos Theory. It's much more logical to expand Conviction's gameplay into something that is a hybrid of stealth and action.

If they went back to the drawing board because a very vocal group of people demand them to then I will lose all respect for Max and his team. What's gonna happen if they do listen to you? How do you think people such as myself will react when they take it back to the drawing board? I happen to like what I'm seeing on Blacklist so far. I'm sure many others do too. Do you think it's fair for one group of people to ruin everything for another group of people? I certainly don't. Just because you aren't getting what you want, it doesn't give you the right to spoil things for others.

The majority of the people who are writing off Blacklist and acting like it's an insult to the hardcore fans of the franchise remind me of another type of people. The people who demanded that Bioware change the ending to Mass Effect 3. You think you're entitled to the Splinter Cell game YOU WANT not the Splinter Cell game the DEVS WANT to give you. Blacklist is what they want to give us so accept it. Besides we've seen two videos of the same mission so how can anyone judge that the whole game will be like that. If you do then you're an idiot. Hitman: Absolution proved that not all developers are lying SOB's. I believe Zack when he says we'll see a stealth video soon because I can see that Blacklist has potential to become one of the best games in the stealth genre, if not the best.

But what about all the other games very similar to blacklist. Games that conv/black are taking cues from. Plus your logic is flawed there hasn't been a hardcore stealth game in a while, I think people are getting tired of the same old thing. cover, shoot, cover, shoot, move here, melee this dude, climb this thing. A hardcore stealth experience would be as much of a breath of fresh air as was SAR.

    ummmm........................

Kind of like how fans of casual games ruined splinter cell ...(I jest) I know the reason is because there is a large market for casual type games. Ubisoft sold out trying to take a chunk of that pie. Plus only 10% on the forums want the direction blacklist is going. Try googling blacklist opinions and check out the % of enthusiastic splinter cell fans vs fans of the pew pew, GORE PORN!!! genre.

I know I'm not entitled to anything. I just think it is wrong that ubisoft isn't respecting the original teams artistic integrity.
