After installing the latest patch I can't load any of my savegames anymore. The game simply crashes in the loading screen.

I thought that was what I had already done here, the technical support forum. Regardless, as I posted already in that thread you suggested the possible workarounds doesn't work for me. My saves are all corrupt in that regardless what I try to do, they always crash my game completely. I don't really mind playing all over again, but it's rather poor style how there's a huge lack of communication when there are so many with issues.

I would suggest a locked thread where you tell everyone what issues you have identified and the results so everyone can see it at the top and know that it's a known issue instead of having to browse the forum, lose heart from reading all the other people with the same issue and not any sign of official support being done.
