Me also, and I'm 3/3 (including this post) on having to enter the captcha twice, since I'm captcha-challenged >.>
Yup, most likely moderators and above would be exempt from any captcha checks or posting restrictions.
It is a little annoying to have such intensive verification. Plus I'd assume that if the bots can bypass the captcha to register, they could bypass the captcha to post...
If only we were free to choose to not open threads, or realized the world didn't revolve around us.
Yeah the constant entry of captchas for every single thread reply is annoying, but so far I'm 10 for 10 as far as actually being able to read the letters/numbers and enter the correct captcha on the first try. I've been on sites before that I'd have to refresh the image over and over because I couldn't make out the letters/numbers.

rcole, someone may have a point referring to how you are a mediator, and at a different level than us. While I agree with a need to keep spamming to a minimum, these captchas are a real PIA. Was there some spam problem recently? Maybe someone made some changes or an upgrade and this is a mistake?

Yeah the captcha's suck I don't understand it I am logged in and and I have to do after every post, ANNOYING! I haven't seen much spam in here either so I don't get it. Also i get like 50% of them wrong because they are hard to see clearly
