This is my issue, and ubisoft support has no clue here. Game ran fine until i installed Patch 1.2. About 80 hours logged no issues, but now i get an application error on launch and cannot play at all. I need the 1.2 patch for some mods that i would like to install. Graphics card, intel intergrated hd handeles the game fine, temps never execed 50 C. 6 gigs in ram, windows 7 64 bit, intel core i5 procceser. Any ideas for a fix. Note that this is NOT a ctd issue but an application error.

Just a thought, you might try redownloading the patch and then reapplying it. It sounds like there was something wrong with the download or it might have installed wrong. This does happen from time to time.

un install it and then re install.. it should be v1.2...
