Assassin's Creed II: Allow mouse to move across dual monitors?
I have not had any luck with this, and it is making it much more difficult to play the game. For most of my PC gaming life, I've had to rely on having two separate computers. One to read walkthroughs and check Skype or AIM on, and another to run the actual game. Needless to say, this was quite a pain.
Recently, I finally got a dual-monitor setup that works with most games, allowing me to view Skype and the game's walkthrough on one screen, and play the actual game on the other. For some reason, your particular game thwarts every effort I make to do anything with my mouse and keyboard other than play the game. There seems to be no other recourse than the same buggy method of using ALT-TAB to minimize the game window, which usually results in degraded performance eventually upon resuming if done frequently enough, forcing me to restart the game.
It was suggested that I try to run the game in Windowed mode, which doesn't really seem like it would be that great to begin with, but your software doesn't even support THAT. It's like you're determined that I'm not going to do anything else with my computer while playing the game. Why?
It has resulted in me not playing this game as much as my others, due to the inconvenience and the fact that it would cut me off from Skype and the walkthroughs I need while playing. I'm thinking the dual-monitor thing was a mistake, and I should have gotten a cheap laptop again instead.
Is there any solution to this?

Couldn't you just change your screen settings to extend mode
