    Co-op Problem

    Hi,

I got a strange problem with playing Co-op, me and a friend bought the game and are living quite far from each other wich won't be the problem, anyhow we both can play multiplayer but once we wanne play in our private match it sais there is no connection meanwhile when we use match finder we automaticly get in a random game and we can play with other ppl. Now my question is if it's something related to the router ports since one of us tried that aswell and we had the same result with not having a connection.

    Regards, Hawk2103

Hello hawk2103... yes, it is absolutley related to your ports (and his ports)... both players need to open all the Splinter Cell Conviction ports; once you've both opened these ports, you will have (essentially) created a "tunnel" between the two of you and the Ubisoft Servers, allowing the Splinter Cell Conviction games to communicate properly. Now, if any of these ports are blocked/scanned/monitored etc. (on both ends), it's likely that you won't have a good connection or no connection at all. Look to this thread for assistance in opening ports. Be certain to verify that all ports have been opened successfully on both ends; don't assume that they are open. Hope this helps. Good luck.
