    establishing connection problem

i purchased splinter cell conviction during the steam summer sale and was also able to play it yesterday but when i tried to start the game today it just says : "establishing network connection please wait" and nothing happens. Has any one else this problem or knows how to fix it?

Hello Feriedo... yes, it seems there has been quite a few players with very similar problems/issues... try looking to this recent post and see if this applies/helps. My last suggestion is to contact Ubisoft Support for assistance/help. Good luck.

thanks for the answer somehow that is working now and i get into the menu but directly after i get there the games shows an error message called sc5 with no text in it and the game closes.

edit: i also tried to change the resolution but that didn't help.

Hello Feriedo... wow, that's a new one... I've not heard of or seen this problem/issue before (with the "SC5" box), so I'm a little hesitant to comment or suggest anythig, except to contact Ubisoft Support and ask them what this "SC5" error message means and how to resolve it; this can't be the first time this problem/issue has come-up (although I've never come across it), and I'm certain they can assist/help you. Good luck

    p.s. please keep us posted...
