Yes, which is why it never does damage. Let me give you a concrete example to explain what I am saying. Let's say there is a stack of 10 fire elementals. You attack it, and kill 5 fire elementals, so the stack has 5 fire elementals left. You attack it again and kill the rest of the fire elementals.creamation is about the number of the units the fire elemental has,not mine. if a fire elemental stack dies then there is an explosion, not mine. the visual of the cremation is there when you kill a fire elemtal but hte effect never takes place.
Cremation triggers, you see the explosion and all that, but you don't see any damage. Why would this be so?
The question should be how many fire elementals are there when you destroyed the stack?
Clearly, there are 0 fire elementals, since you just destroyed the stack, so therefore the fire elemental's cremation will do <X damage> * 0 (number of fire elementals in stack), which would equal 0 damage. Therefore, no effect.
This is why I also mentioned that in order for cremation to work, they need to change how it triggers, if we are to assume it triggers like all the other skills. As you know, creature skills scale according to unit count. However, in cremation's case, unit count is always 0 when it triggers.
