    [UPDATE] Patch 1.5.2 is now LIVE!

    [UPDATE]: the patch is already live on Steam and will be live on Uplay within a few minutes.

    Hello Heroes,

    As you already know, the patch 1.5 and 1.5.1 have been released and we have been monitoring the official and community channels. We gathered a lot of feedback, thank you again for your help! The Limbic team worked hard to address different issues and now I can share with you the list of corrections we are going to implement with the patch 1.5.2. The list is not final yet and can be changed. We are aiming at releasing the patch on Thursday July 26th.

    Patch 1.5.2 release notes:

    - Offline / Online saves compatibility first implementation:

    o Currently only the progress of unlocking the campaign maps gets synchronized.
    o Only progress that has been achieved while playing online will get synchronized. Campaign progress unlocked in offline mode is not synchronized. Progress that has been achieved while being offline is only available on that specific machine.
    o The progress will only be synchronized if it has been achieved with a default (online) hero. Progress that has been made with heroes whose affinity has been switched (e.g. from blood to tears) or with custom heroes will not be synchronized.
    o The progress of heroes (reputation/skill/level) within a campaign will not be saved/synchronized.

    - Pirates Of the Savage Sea Adventure Pack - The Fortunes of Captain Hack map:

    o Fixed the trigger for the dialog after the battle with Jon o Reduced the amount of obligatory battles against the Elementals in the northern tunnels o Fixed the final cutscene: Crag now appear on his horse instead of on foot o Fixed the trigger for the achievement "The seas run red".

    - Pirates Of the Savage Sea Adventure Pack - The King of the Savage Sea map:

    o The dialogue triggering the bonus reputation quest now appears in the course of the map, not right at the beginning.

    - Artifacts:

    o Pendant of Conflux - Inconsistency between the tooltip and the behavior for the Pendant of Conflux artifact
    o The "Bracers of the Druid" artifact tooltips are incorrect.
    o The "Gauntlets of the Khan" artifact's second ability (+1 to friendly creatures might damage) doesn't work
    o The Cloaks that increase magic defense by 10 for each magic school don't work
    o The "Frozen Chrysanthemum" Artifact doesn't work
    o The "Boots of the Waverider" does not grant "1 creature movement on sea"
    o The "Winterwind Peace Circlet" Artifact doesn't work
    o The "Flamegold Shield" artifact does not award fire resistance.
    o The "Pendant of Mastery" does not award a bonus to the racial gauge as stated in its description.
    o The "Shantiri Armor" does not grant magic defense against the Prime magic school even though it is stated to do so.

    - Units:

    o The growth for the "Harpy" unit is 7 instead of 8
    o The growth is 11 instead of 12 for the Demented.
    o The growth is 8 instead of 9 for the Maniac.
    o The Maximum melee damage of the "Fury" unit is 8 instead of 9
    o Vampire Lord weekly growth reduced to 6 units instead of 5
    o The Skeletal Spearman unit has the maximum ranged damage 7 instead of 6

    - Abilities / Spells:

    o The chilled effect provided by the "Eternal Winter" ability is increased by 1 instead of 2
    o The "Toughness I" ability does not increase the maximum health of the hero's units by 5%.
    o The "Toughness II" ability does not increase the maximum health of the hero's units by 4%.
    o The "Toughness III" ability does not increase the maximum health of the hero's units by 5%.
    o The "Mentoring" ability gives a 75% increase in experience instead of 50%
    o The "Arcane Exaltation III" spell gives 4 points instead of 5
    o Lich's dark embrace passive ability has been buffed to 30% instead of being reduced to 15%
    o The "Blizzard" spell has a 2 turns duration instead of 3
    o The "Fire Ball" spell has an Area of effect of 3x3 instead of 4x4
    o The "Chain Lightning" spell has a cost of 65 mana instead of 50

    - Others:

    o Tree Of Plenty - The player placed on the first slot starts with the Main Hero on the central island.

    Because balance changes are a lot easier to implement than fixing important bugs since only numbers are needed to be adjusted.

    I don't want to be too harsh with my words, but then please release a bug-fix patch next week because I want to love this game.

    Yes,I agree with Dreed89..This game is full of bugs and they need to be fixed.I am waiting for numerous bug-fixes in 1.6 (if it will exist) !

    Thanks Irina, good to see things are somewhat progressing. BTW there was a slight spoiler about the dlc, haven't really played that far yet.

    Hi Irina, thanks for the update, but the first part about the save compatibility is really complicated.

    So if I'm playing offline again at some point the progress I made during offline session will not be synchronized again? Does this mean for example if play the first Haven campaign map online, the second offline and the third online again that all progress made during the second map is lost if I play on a different machine? How is this even working?

    Again I don't understand how this works. From what I remember deleting a custom hero deleted all campaign progress/map progress in the past and made his savegames useless. The same problem happended when the affinity was switched for the acutal campaign hero (might and magic by the way, blood and tear is reputation). So what exactly is changed here? Will the campaign progress be preserved in this cases, even if it will not be synchronized again and is only avaiable on that specific machine?

    I think you lost me here. Does this mean that all progress (set artifacts, EXP, reputation) made in one campaign map is now automatically lost in the next? Or is this only the case if I deleted my custom hero/switched affinity for the campaign hero? And even then this makes no sense.

    I don't understand why this have to be so difficult, why is the specific hero synchronized and not the progress made on this map? For example: In the past map I made 500000 EXP, got 250 tear points and 90 blood points, got several points in magic defense, magic power and might power through adventure map buildings and found three set artifacts. This progress can be assigned to any hero, even if I deleted a custom hero (the new one gets all this stuff) or switched affinity. All ability points that can't be reassigned, because the used heroes doesn't has access to the abilities anymore, are given back to the player, or even better: let the player reassign all abilities after affinity has been switched.

    Can we get patch notes with bugfixes? These ones are just listed bugs, not actual bugfixes. And this is not the first time, when we got list of bugs instead of list of bugfixes.

    It's alwasys good to know that Limbic is working hard on fixing bugs and implementing some balance changes.... but PLEASE tell me/us that Altar of Servitude is getting fixed on 1.5.2!!!

    Copyright years bug: The intro screen says Copyright 2012.
    Should be 2011-2012 instead.
    Please fix.
