Its called "anonymous browsing". No one anywhere can see what sites he goes to, and no one can see his physical location. It works by pinging the IP address around the world, making it appear as though it came from somewhere else. Works if you like downloading torrents and stuff like that.

anyway, when i wrote that post, i was actually in Taba (Egypt), using 3 different networks (Israelian,Egyptian and Jordanian)
but you can also take it as a "figurative way", a metaphore. It's easy!

You dont have to be a geek to want to protect your internet privacy. We can also travel with our smartphones, accessing sites that we may be banned from. Not exactly awe-inspiring technology. Are you using a mobile modem? You get my point.

PS I'd say very important. The United States isn't done with SOPA and PIPA.
