Wow it sounds like there are some really harch people on PS3! I have never runned in to anyone on xbox live but then again I just play AC B and for the moust of the times Im in a party. But sure we get hate mails, mostly for stunlooking and ''so called'' hacking when we get a good score. And the thing I have noticed is that you get more hate when doing good, so are you sure they are not just mad at you because they are loose to a girl?

And I haven't heard any sexist comments eather (except froom all the jokes we guys say to our female friends xD) maybe because the most of the girls on xbox is really good and wins over the most of us guys.

Now those of you who know me, know that I'm not normally one to stand up and make a fuss unless I'm well and truly fed up with something and guess what?
I'm fed up.
Fed up with what? Well not Ubisoft for once I'll give you all that. Oh no, try the sexist pigs who assume that just because they can trash talk down a mic to me means they're going to get away with it in any way shape or form.


You see, over the average weekend these days I normally deal with one idiot hasn't been dragged into the 21st century but this weekend I think I dealt with about four in total.
I warn you now, all four HAVE been reported to Sony because seriously? I'm fed up with the lot of you.
Ordinarily I would have sent all four twits packing with some of my usual poison tipped insults, which I did for two of their number. The other two on the other hand were working as a team and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise with comments like "You need to put your controller down and get back to the kitchen." "Girls can't game." "I'm the male here. I say your name shall be LA Noire not LaChatNoir because my word is law" and due to some of the language they were using I'm not even going to go NEAR some of the other things they said to me here.


However, I'm glad it was me that you people were unloading your verbal diarrhea to as after being bullied for the better half of my 22 years of life I feel I've got a decently thick skin built up against your drivel. I would dread to think on the other hand if it was any other girl gamer who didn't have such a resilience built up… Say a girl who'd only just picked up ACB and not only was it her first game outside of something like Pokémon for example, but her first multiplayer too. Now I know that chance is extremely RARE but think on it. Do you want THAT to be her first experience with our community?
I sure as hell don't want it to be!!


I would like to thank EVERY SINGLE one of the guys out there who when hearing girls being abused over a mic by other players get on their own ones and defend them or alternatively start messaging the offending players to shut up.

I'm not trying to be mean and I mean no offense but La your not special. Both male and female have to hear sphincter-holes trash talk on the mic. Both ACR and ACB is a frustrating buggy, glitchy, laggy game that players get competitive at. No body likes to lose whether its individual scores or as the losing team. When people trash talk they try to say things that will upset you the most. They usually aren't being sexist, they just have an agenda. They just figure it will piss you off the most and are trying to get you to do what they want. They obviously got to you. People are sometimes sphincters or just have bad moments but it's nothing new. Everyone gets angry. It's part of life. The more you entertain their low-brow low-class behavior the more likely they are to repeat it. Just mute them and move on. It's not worth it to get upset. You and OD are very experienced at this game and know what people are like on here by now. Don't let it get to you.

Ive been playin AC MP for about a year and a half and have only ever run into total scumbags once. I think they mic up specifically to get under peoples skin and not actually play. It would be nice if we could put all of such "players" in their own lobby but we know that wont happen. Take it with a grain of salt La Chat. We know who the good people are and will defend one another no matter what differences we might have(clan wise or whatever)!

To tell you the true I actually love it when I am playing MP with females. I get tired of the sausage fest chats and need a double dose of estrogen every now and then. It is a shame that you experienced such a harsh MP match. Wish you were playing with me. I also talk trash but mostly at people who ruin the session for everyone, including me. What I hate most of all is the increasing number of early teens who think they know everything. A piss ant that was born yesterday gets to teach me (and I am probably twice their age) on life.

This has happened to me countless times Kitty. Lord knows I would love it to stop. I know it won't. I know that the girl gaming culture is growing day by day but there are 20 guys to everyone one girl out there. Yes most of them are good decent wonderful guys. But we're going to run into guys who go "Get back to the kitchen and make me a sandwich *****." My normal response is "Isn't that what your mommy does for you cause you're still living at home?"

I hope it ends one day. But on the otherside of it I've run into plenty of women (thankfully not so much in ACB/ACR) who will completely tear down a guy or USE him because mind games are apparently hilarious to some women. Its sad. Its pathetic.

You clearly didn't read OD's response. First off, there's a difference between trash-talking and sexist insults. That's like saying people who call black gamers the N word aren't really being racist, they're just trash-talking. It's racist no matter what the intent. Same with sexism. Secondly, these aren't just people who are annoyed at losing to a girl, sometimes they're ON THE SAME TEAM. You'd think people would be happy to have a great player on their team who knows what she's doing and racks up big scores, but no.

This stupid attitude of "everyone trash-talks, just mute them and ignore the problem" needs to stop. No wonder gamers as a community are still treated as immature. People can choose to deal with the problem whichever way they want, but they shouldn't be expected to ignore it just because a large part of the community thinks it takes too much effort to stand up for what's right.
