Game will not get past loading screen
In the intro of the game I do 3 bits of driving about 1 min each - the last bit is down an alley with the guy in the truck behind me - then I get a loading screen; it never goes away. I constantly reload and just get stuck on the loading screen. It took me 1 year to get the game to load and run - now I only get to play for 5 mins. How do I stop the crashes on loading screens?

Very strange… never experienced a problem like this, so it’s hard to tell for me.
There’s nothing „special“ coming after this scene… just a cutscene, no big loading or anything.
This is a stupid question, but your computer has no problem with the minimum required specs right? Because some other people have the game crashing during the last mission for example, because there’s lots of loading. So the game might work during all of the game with less power, but if they give those specs then it’s really the minimum for a situation like this!
Or perhaps your game has a problem… is it a download or DVD? If it’s a DVD it could be scratched, that would be very typical…

Have you tried it with the DVD in the drive? Install the other parts maybe? Or I didn’t get something there…

The game will play for 1st 3 segments up till the alley chase - after the 1st sequence of the alley chase the loading screen displays indefinitely; reloading just freezes on the loading screen and restarting plays 1st few sequences the freezes allways at the same point. This happens if the DVD is in the DVD drive and not in the DVD drive on my desk - the game's installed on my hard drive. Even if I start the game from the disc; I'm sure it just plays it off my hard drive.
