I think it is that they are trying hard, but in a different direction. In other words, they are probably re-coding the way multiplayer works via connection wise considering the direct port. I do, however, think that this should have been addressed much sooner, but hey, at least I found out what the fix connection wise was. Strict or even Moderate NAT will not do for this certain game, needs to be open. Now if they could fix the infinite loading screen in multiplayer. That gets really old.
